faillog problems
Hi,
I have done something very silly...... I have chaged permissions on the folder var/log using "chmod a+w *". This has changed the "faillog". This has stopped all access to the system including root. Anyone got any ideas to get arround this?
Cheers
Glenn.

Use your install disk and boot into rescue mode and then fix the permissions on the dir.
