Hi, I have a little problem here.

Trying to make space on a 6.4TB RAID5 drive for another lvolume, I had to shrink an existing volume (to be deleted after data migration on new volume).
Hardware is core 2 duo 2.4GHz, adaptec 3805 raid card 8x WD RE3 1xTB disks.
Boot partition isn't on raid volume.
Volume to be shrinked :
/dev/Theater_Group/Linux_Storage : ~2,7TB ext4 volume
OS :openfiler 2.3 64bit uptodate, Kernel 2.6.29.6-0.13.smp.gcc3.4.x86_64

Here what's I've done :
-umount volume
[root#openfiler ~]# e2fsck -fv /dev/Theater_Group/Linux_Storage
e2fsck 1.41.8 (11-July-2009)

Like you can see, the resize process is freezing at pass 3 since 2563 min, with one core 100%.

strace tell me the following:

at warp speed.

Well, I think process is always working (I hope!!!), but I have no idea how much time it will take.
do you have any advice?

Thanks in advance
