Recovering files from corrupted HDD
I've posted once before here and had pretty good support, I figured I'd try it again. I have a laptop with a corrupted hard drive. The diskdrive doesnt work and i was planning on booting a live version of linux on a usb stick and recovering some files. My question is what is my best bet of linux to use to do so ( slower, older laptop) and where might i find some steps on how to do it?
