    PXE Question

Wondering if anyone has any experience or knowledge of an app that can run on a PXE to restrict usage to users?

    Basically:

    User 1 - has 10 mintes
    User 2 - 3 minutes
    User 3 - 12.5 minutes

So when a user logs in, it boot up a restricted distro/desktop and it counts down until they run out of time and then logs them out

The Admin would be the one able to add minutes to users account.

Similar to Kinkos stations but with linux.

Sorry if it's been discussed before but when I've searched for it I keep coming back with nothing.

Any ideas on how to accomplish this would be great. Thanks you guys

No,I don't know a prefabricated software solution for this. It sounds rather specific.
But on the other hand's side, this doesn't sound too complicated and you should be able to find someone to implement it for not too much compensation.

Maybe a central database with the timeouts and each client reads regularly from that to see if it has to lock out.
Debian GNU/Linux -- You know you want it.
