Help!can't Not Enter My System, fail to enter the system

    My linux version is redhat9.0

Yesterday when I try to enter my system
    I failed.
My runlever is 3, it's to say I use commend line .
    when it showed out :
    loginxxx
    password:

I just entered the username and the password
But it failed to enter the system,
    and it just repeated :

    login:
    password:

No matter I changed the username or restarted the computer,
it still failed to land the system.

It seems that I haven't changed any system file, and I have used it for few
    days.It worked quick OK.

    Now how can I do?

Well, I don't know why it does this. But to get a shell and debug it, start the system in runlevel 1, by adding a 1 to the kernel command line at boot time.
