    stuck booting from HDD

    my laptop is not reading my keystrokes until I get to the GRUB menu. I have plugged in two different keyboards and I cant get into the BIOS. I am using a Dell Inspiron 5100.

    I want to change distros but im stuck booting from the HDD so if someone could point me to a grub entry to allow me to boot from a cd or usb stick i would appreciate it.
