    Changing OSx for Linux

    Hi everyone.

    I have recently started using my old PPC eMac G4 again. I am currently running 10.4 on it but I find due to the lack of available memory (after the os has eaten up most of it) it is really slow and online videos like youtube are very stuttered. Is there any distro of linux I could use as a os on this mac?? Also I should add I have an airport extreme card that I connect to the internet with, would this still function correctly if I was to swap OSx for Linux?

    PPC support for flash is just bad, so that is most likely the problem with that

    I don't think you should have any hardware issues with hardware that is fairly old either, i would make a backup just in case
