    Recover Deleted Partition

I was using dd to copy an image to a disc and I accidentally typed in the wrong drive name. I did not realize for about 10 minutes into that copy that I had been copying to the wrong drive. I need some advice on how to recover that data on the drive. I think most of the data should be there, the image was only 70gb and the drive is 1.5tb. So I would think that a good portion on the data has not been overwritten yet and would be recoverable. Any ideas?

TestDisk is probably your best chance for a recovery effort. It works best when run from a liveCD such as Parted Magic.
