GRUB ISSUES
My RH9 install was messed up by Partition Magic and I really can't put it back on as my CD's are corrupt. Does anyone know how to just set up my GRUB config files without installing a new distro, I am looking at Debian and I think I may switch to it, Gentoo is too confusing to install. I have MandrakeMove download version on CD that I burned a while ago so I still have access to my EXT3 partition, any advice on getting GRUB working.
I hate doing all of this
GRUB>rootnoverify (hd0,0)
GRUB>chainloader +1
GRUB>boot
just to boot Windows XPire and MS-DOS 7.10Nothing is worse than ten penguins fighting over which is better, vi or emacs.

read the tutorial on the subject in this site.

that's assuming that you still have access to /boot/grub/grub.conf and that the other files in that folder are still accessable.
have fun
