I was wondering if anyone could tell me of an open source program that will lay out text and images in the same way that QuarkXpress or Pagemaker does. I'm still very new to Linux and still having trouble installing applications, but I use Quark, Photoshop and Illustrator for my job, and while I've found the Gimp to be pretty good so far (although I am like a beginner again) I am looking for a Linux equivalent to Quark that I can design a brochure or lay out the pages of a magazine with.
