    resetting router with teminal?

What would be really great is if there is a terminal way to log into a router and reset it.

It depends on the router. Some allow logging on with telnet.
    Look in your router's manual.

    Hi!

I'm not sure about access by terminal but maybe you can try to type 192.168.1.1 on your URL box and you might be able to access your router from there.

I am guessing a command line way to reset modem would be easier to automate than web based. when ever 4 ping fails.

I am trying to find a linux macro program remotely as good as autohotkey. since my machine is 24 hour slave for me with scripts I wrote, doing anything you can think of.
