    Acer one linux lite permissions problem

    My Acer One netbook with Linux lite has been working perfectly for over 2 years but recently it wont allow me to save any files from email attachments , SD cards or USB pens . I keep getting the message that permission had been denied . I am a Linux newbie so don't know where to begin to try and fix this.

    Could you post the exact error message that you are getting?
    Are you sure that you are trying to save them in the correct directory?
