    Controller based linux?

Anyone knows if there is any linux distro that is developed around using a pc controller /xbox controller?

It does not have to be able to do everything with the controller but i want to be able to start music, movies and games with the controller.

I can be found either 40 miles west of Chicago, in Chicago, or in a galaxy far, far away.
It depends a lot upon the chip set that the controller uses. You might want to do some Google searching first, as there are a number of Linux distributions that have been created/ported for embedded and discrete systems such as routers, game boxes, etc.

I know this thread is 2 weeks old but maybe this will help others including the OP.

Ubuntu has community documentation for setting up XBox controllers. Both wireless and USB.

I'm sure that the files needed to build the driver package can be used in other distros as you need to compile them from the source.
