PXE install to access server only
All, we are looking to obtain a high powered workstation which will have a number of diskless terminals connected to it.
My idea is to have the diskless terminals loading an OS from the workstation and having that automatically connect to a remote login on the workstation.
I know about PXE (well, I've read lots about it) and I would have liked to use LTSP, but Red Hat 6.1 doesn't include it. So I will have to have the clients loading the OS entirely.
Is there a way I can get the OS to automatically connect to a remote XDMCP session on the server? Alternatively, is there a way I can use LTSP with RH6?
Thanks for any info you can give me.
Andy
