    want to use external drive to boot linux

    im debating using an external hard drive to run linux on my main machine. i plan on uusing sabayon like i have on my netbook but using kde instead of lxde. I was wondering where do i put the bootloader for an install when windows is already on the hard drive of my machine and i do not want to touch that but i would like to add sabayon on the external to boot on that machine. thank you for your hellp in advance.

    Just install grub to mbr of external hardrive partition you are installing Sabayon on . I have just done this with AntiX 12 Beta Full iso on a external 16 gig Flash drive for my Acer Aspire Windows 7 Laptop. Posting with it now.
