    Using top

Hi everyone, i just ran into some apps stalling and i was wondering how to kill them. I already know how to use the kill command but i can't find some apps on top to find their PID. Apps like xmms, konqueror when browsing files, etc. How can i see what these apps are named?

I am asking cause right now in this particular juncture, xmms is stalled, and i can't find it's PID with top cause i simply don't know how it's called.

    Try
    Code:
ps aux | grep -i xmms
