    The name Linux is owned by Linus but I believe he allows Linux International to monitor and enforce it. He also owns the copyright to the Linux Kernel (released under the GPL) however parts of the kernel (quite alot of them) are owned by other individuals and corparations. As far as I know noone has coprighted the image of TUX but on this point I may be wrong.
