How to recover files from erased partition
hi
I am nebie to linux. when i installing Lycoris linux .i accdentally pressed prepare hard didk button. It erased total my hard disk .My all data was lost. Befor Linux i am using Windows xp
and windows 98. It is ver sad for me becz my all important data was lost . Can any one help in this aspect plz.

Did you finish installing Lycoris, if so, you probably should try a professional data recovery service. Try here

Ouch... if you erased everything and then installed on top... no chance that your data is left... sorry but that the hard reality... if you DID NOT install on top of the formated drive, then theres hope...
either u get another drive and get a data recovery tool (windows solution)
