Where to Find Single Layer High Capacity DVD Discs?
Like the only ones I can find with something in the neighborhood of 20 GB are the Blu Rays. Can anyone help? Thanks.

DVDs can only hold some much data. If you can't find it on amazon.com, it doesn't exist.
Have you considered something like a 32gb flash drive? They are pretty cheap these days.

DVD's are only available in capacities of 4GB single layer and 8GB duel layer (+/_ R format).

How on Earth do the big companies fit whole seasons of sitcoms on DVDs then?

By using MPEG video compression and in most cases they can fit 3 to 4 episodes on 1 duel layer DVD i.e. 8GB.
I do think that some of the compression ratios that the big guys use may be greater and can squeeze more than that on
one DVD but I am no expert in this field.

According to this link DVD Length
DVDs hold about 4 hours of programming.
A 30 minute sitcom is only 20-25 minutes per episode, because of commercials on TV.
So, a 4 hour DVD could hold around 12 episodes each at full quality.
