    Can the XFCE lock screen be configured to run a certain command when someone enters an invalid password (So that my webcam can take a picture of them and email it to me)?

    I'm not sure. You may need to clone and alter the screen-saver of XFCE to do this. I don't know if this will provide you with any leads or not, but check it out anyway: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/XScreenSaver
