.TMP File Created while FTP from one server to another.

while Transfer of file from one server to another, .tmp file is created at Remote end. Sometimes another original file is created after few minutes, but in many cases the file remains .tmp only.

    Eg
A, B, C, D file is transfered from Server 1 to Server 2. any one or two file like A.tmp file is created at Server 2, in some cases another File by name A is again created at SErver 2 but in some cases it is not.

    My concern is that
    1) How to overcome .tmp file name itself.
    2) Incase it is created then it should be followed by correct file as well.

i would not worry about the creation of .tmp files. They are probably part of the transfer process and since they are in the .tmp folder, they can be erased if you wish or just left alone.

    Have a great evening!
