    Maybe I am too dumb, ifconfig is gone!


    Dunno why when I type ifconfig in RH 9.0. nothing appears!

    Is the location of ifconfig in your path ?

    need to type the path as well? dunno where the path is, better read the RH9.0 reference guide first! gosh, so annoying, thanks a lot man!

    ifconfig can be found in /sbin. If you want to use administrative tools as a normal user, as I do, be sure to add /usr/local/sbin, /sbin and /usr/sbin to your PATH env var. See your ~/.bashrc for more info.
