    Gimp

    Hi guys,

    I have been using sparky linux for a short time and came to use gimp. after a while and with no warning or error messages Gimp just disappears, the whole thing shuts down and all work lost.
    I have run all the updates to the system but still no fix.

    Any ideas please?

    Thanks in advance.

    Yea, what exactly is the meaning of "shuts down". Does it power itself off? Does it crash? If yes, any information regarding nature of the crash will give clues.
    Have you kept an eye on CPU/GPU temperatures? Perhaps it needs cleaning, full of dust?

    The OS is fine. All the gimp windows close and all the work lost.

    -->
    open gimp in a terminal:
    Code:
    gimp
    reproduce the problem, and see what output you get .
    post that here.

    also, sparky have their own forums: https://sparkylinux.org/forum/
