GNU/Linux distro comparison chart

Greetings there,
i have used fc3 for some time and am about to complete re-vamping my system for a fresh install.
i wish to know various features of a distribution say ease of usage,package mgmt, no. of packages available, hardware recognition, compatability with other OSes etc.
if any one could point me to such a link or current users may share their experience on these factors that really matter,, it would be great!

i was hoping if each distro forum here, have a sticky thread for such details so that new users, like me, find it easier to choose from so many distros that are available.
