    problem while running bind ./named

    hi every body

    I have a problem while running the bind " ./named " when i run the bind and when i see the messages file through " tail -f /var/log/messages " its gives me two error i.e.

    1) ctl_server: socket : Address family not supported by protocol

    2) sysquery: nlookup error on ?

    these are the two error which i am facing while running the DNS
    kindly help me to solve this problem

    Maybe it is compiled with IPv6 support without a kernel that also supports it? Where did you get it from? Did you compile it yourself?
