    Net send command



    I have two wireless computers and i want to learn to send a message not on the internet using net send but every time i do it it doesnt work ive tried everything what am i doing wrong?

    What the exact syntax your using to send it?
    Are both computer connected properly to the network?
    Whats the error mesasge you get when trying the command?

    NET SEND <computer-name> <message> (for windows)

    p.s. i dont think linux has net send

    Something a little different but if you are logged into a linux box with someone else at the same time in a command line you can type wall
    and a commmand

    wall Hi how are you

    broadcast
    Hi how are you

    It is limited though there has to be at least two poeple logged in and both people would have to be logged into a term.
