I have two wireless computers and i want to learn to send a message not on the internet using net send but every time i do it it doesnt work ive tried everything what am i doing wrong?

NET SEND <computer-name> <message> (for windows)
p.s. i dont think linux has net send

Something a little different but if you are logged into a linux box with someone else at the same time in a command line you can type wall
and a commmand
wall Hi how are you
broadcast

It is limited though there has to be at least two poeple logged in and both people would have to be logged into a term.
