Legalalities to be considered for making a linux distro
Hi every one there,
I am making my own distro ....
Please tell me
1.What are the legally mandatory changes that i hv to make to have my own name on a linux distro?????
2.What else may/can/should change???
3.What changes will eliminate fedora logo completely from the distro
making it feasible for me to use it as a base for my own distro????
Please reply as soon as possible

There are just four or five builded from scratch so, as you may guess, there's a lot of freedom in using programs from any of this distros if the license is GPL. You can take a look at http://shots.osdir.com/ and check some relations between distros, by example you can check wich distros use the anaconda installer. The fedora project is almost entirely GPL. If you have the source of the distro you can check the licenses and know wich programs you may and may not use.
