    What do you mean by this? the OS jumping up on the BIOS and saying 'BOO!'?

    I can't see it haveing much effect on the BISO, not that I now a lot about BIOS though.

    HaHa That was a good one. I don't think OS can harm BIOS, unless you really want to "shock" it. It never happened to me.

    Not so much to the OS, but there are a few utilitys that comes with like Linux that really can mess up your Bios config.
