    I think that a 200mhz pc with 64mb of ram should be fine for simple office apps and internet, i think many people go way over spec for what they actually want to do with there pc!

    Surely soon people will realise that we arnt gaining anything really in useable performance by increasing hardware alone.

    As memory has become cheaper, people buy more, and software wastes more, so all in all, we havnt gained much!

    Ok I have Vector up and installed. It's a bit sluggish and I havn't decided what to do with that.

    Yes if you want to play games then of course you will want the most powerful machine you can afford.
