recommendations and comparisions - needed
I'd like opinions on different versions,
I've ran Slackware, ran Redhat and long ago, DL'd something else but don't remember what
I wanted to try Fedora but don't have a CD burner (and don't care to have one) so I was thinking of just buying a cheap set from someone.
also thought about going back to Slackware since I know I can order a set online.
anyone have any suggestions? Comparisons?
Thanks

Personally I run Fedora. I've used Suse (9.1 and 9.2) and liked it, but always felt more confortable in Fedora. That is only because I have used it the most. Ubuntu has had some very good reviews lately, Gentoo has always sounded like a good distro and people seem to love Slackware just as much as Gentoo.
Take a look at http://distrowatch.com/ for some reviews and to see what's out there.
If your willing to buy cd's take a look at this page - http://spidertools.com/10pack.php
