hi there,
i have the following systems:
>> MS Win2k Server
>> MS Win's workstations
i wonder if there is a linux terminal server, which can be used instead of using MS TS, for running an Win based applications on the server?! without buying the MS TS ??!

You can't run Windows applications on Linux.

i know, but that's not what did i ask!
i'm looking for a linux based terminal server/service to connect between the win2k server & the win work stations!

I'm not sure what you want to do. In your first post, it sounded as if you wanted to run a Windows program on a Linux server and display the output on a Windows machine. Now you're talking about having it "between" them. Like a proxy?

What I think he wants is to run something like openssh on a windows server which I don't think is possible anyway.

if you use Citrix, you can download the Citrix ICA client for Linux.
this would let you run a citrix session from a Linux box from which you could run windows apps.
