Isn't GLIBC hard to upgrade?
It is very hard to upgrade because even the "init" process requires it. If you replace the GLIBC with one from another distro (like unpacking an RPM file), your Linux installation might break. If it does break (most likely it will), you would then need to boot with a Linux bootdisk or reinstall Linux. Can I use statically-linked system binaries in order to prevent that from happening?
