xfs problem-i think
surprisely linux give this error when it tries to start X..
Symbol __glXActive Screens from module /usr/X11R6/lib/modeules/extensions/libdri.a is unresolved
Couldnt init font path element unix:/7100,removing from list!
Fatal server error:
Couldnt open default font "fixed"
i think it is related about xfs.it starts up normally at the beginning but when the machine is shutting down it says
xfs failed
any help?
an extra question:
when i want to install Nvidia kernel file it says:
this kernel file needs 2 mb on the / file system.....but i have?Just a Newbie....Looking 4 Info....

When you get a clean terminal, log in as root and run "service xfs restart", then check your log files for any errors.

Yes I do. That's why you should attempt to restart it and then look at what errors it gives.

Hmm i cant do it now.coz now i am using this Winsuck.....
but someone told me remove libdri.a or clean it from XF86config...
or install xfs again?Just a Newbie....Looking 4 Info....

Reinstalling xfs shouldn't be necessary. It's very improbable that an executable has gotten corrupted or anything. I think that the libdri problem can be deferred; I don't think that it's fatal.

Dolda what you think about my extra question:
when i try to install NV drivers (firstly kernel) it says it needs 2MB on / file system?Just a Newbie....Looking 4 Info....

I have no idea, really. I guess that's what happens sooner or later with proprietary software. Try using the extract only option and compile the driver by hand. I can't really give you advice on how, though, since I didn't have to.

Ok.
I solve my problem.
I tried everything about xfs and its configuration but surprisingly the main problem was not xfs itself. The problem was my harddisk capacity
There was no free space even -5 MB- so xfs couldnt be run. xfs needs 50 MB free space on hdd. interesting .i delete some of my files so now there is no problem.
