    Adding Icons to the Desktop and "Start Menu"?

    I'm using Knoppix 3.2 and using KDE. How do I add icons and shortcuts? I want to add a link to the desktop so that I don't have to use a console to run a program. Is there a tool that I can use to add items to menus for KDE? I remember Mandrake 9.1 has it. WHat is it called and where do I download it?

    Right click on desktop -> Create New...
    or use Konqueror, drag any icon to your desktop -> Link here.

    Right click on start menu -> Menu Editor...
    fill some data.
