Just format the partitions from inside windows, they'll be gone but the MBR will still be there (note: the bootloader in the MBR will then NOT be able to boot linux since linux is gone!)

even if you delete linux partition you can still boot on winxp..the mbr are installed on winxp location...linux dont overwrite mbr ..fedora only create grub so u can access any os... thats my opinion...but im not sure ..lets wait for better linux user eh..

anyway i delete/format my linux partiton several times and i have no problems on booting in winxp...

If you've already restored your MS Windows MBR (by booting with the CD, going to a recovery console and typing FIXMBR) then you have nothing to worry about. You can delete the Linux partitions at your leisure. This will not affect your MBR.

If you have GRUB/LILO installed (which is what Fedora does) on your MBR and have deleted your Linux partitions, just restore your MS Windows MBR and all will be well.

To recap, there are 2 steps to uninstalling Linux: delete the partitions and then restore your MS Windows MBR. If you have done one, do the other. Once you've done both you'll have a strictly MS Windows drive.
