Is there a way to find out what ttyX a device is connected to? I'm trying to get a Delorme Tripmate GPS receiver working and I don't know which tty to say it's on. Any ideas?

/dev/ttyS0 is what windows calls com1, /dev/ttyS1 is com2, if that's any help.

Use Suse 10.1 and occasionally play with Kubuntu
Also have Windows 98SE and BeOS
