converting NTFS partitions
i am planning on switching from windows XP pro to linux, (not sure what distro yet), but the main issue thats holding me back is... all my hard drives are in NTFS, can i convert them to a linux file system without destroying the data? its about 200+ gigs worth of files, i realize the only way may be to back everything up to dvd, and then format. i am just wondering if anyone knows a non destructive way to convert the partitions
