could anyone give me a clue to where i can find different programs like cd copping programs and various other software,i just put mandrake 10.1 on one of my machines so im not new to computers but im new to linux...thanks

Mandrake should have K3B considering you included during the installation. Check your system for it, if not, add the package from the Mandrake CD from the Control Center.

go to http://rpm.pbone.net --> select "advance RPM search" --> select your distro --> and search!
