quick question about red hat
My friend just installed Gentoo for me on my computer and the main reason why I wanted it was because of emerge. Does redhat have anything like that because I'm finding gentoo a little advanced for me and I’m thinking of going back to redhat?

RedHat doesn't support it natively, but like any other distro, you can install any package manager on it. It might be more trouble than it's worth, though.
In what way do you find Gentoo too advanced? In my experience, you just have to get used to the Gentoo way of thinking, so to speak.

Redhat is using rpm as their package manager which works fine, and you can also use their up2date functions that keeps your system up2date with new packages for you automaticly.
