A test
93% of visitors to my websites use Internet Explorer for some bizarre reason, unfortunately I have no way of testing my markup with that browser. My computer runs FreeBSD and Linux, every one I know uses some form of Linux, I have absolutely no access to a Windows PC and its been so long since I have I forgot what they even look like.
I've had reports of table weirdness with this markup from Windows users, its W3C valid HTML 4.01, but that doesn't tell me much about how its going to look in different browsers. I need some one with Windows or WINE Sidenet to load this page in Internet Explorer and e-mail me a screenshot of it. I would also appreciate Mac OS10/Safari screenshots.
Why the hell can't people just all use Netscape or Opera.

Or lynx?

You should consider using CSS for page layout and tables for tabular information (which is what they're designed for!).

also, many browsers identify themselves as IE6 or something. for example, when i installed opera, the default was that it identified itself as MS Internet Explorer.

I noticed some difference between IE and ff. I'll send them to you shortly.
EDIT: Done. I hope OOo format is okay.

Thanks for the screenshots. I never can get that blasted nav bar right, I think I've finally fixed it though, the new version looks fine in Opera, and since it has a somewhat similar rendering scheme to IE I'm assuming it'll be OK now. I'm not really sure why the PNG transparencies showed up in the IE screenshot with black backgrounds though. I just need someone to load that page now and tell me if the nav bar is still there
(Its impossible to describe just how much IE aggrevates me)
