    Cron job error.

    I got this error when I ran crond.

    crond: can't lock /var/run/crond.pid, otherpid may be 688: Resource temporarily unavailable

    im a newbie and am not sure what to do.

    In a console, type top and find out what is using PID 688 and report back here.

    crond was using it.

    Apperently it started and i didn't know it.
