password SuSE 8.1
I found an interesting - not necessarily bad but could be for some problem with the login on my SuSE 8.1 distro. When I logn - under CONSOLE and under KDM, I type my username, I type my password and login... I found out that I can also type my username then my password and on the end of my password tack on whatever I want and it will still log me in... any ideas??? does SuSE know about this flaw - would be cool to know if it's a flaw in their enterprise software as well

That is indeed strange in the extreme; it shouldn't even be possible considering how it works. Have you enabled DES instead of MD5 passwords or something equally strange?
