Anyone know the details behind the (previously?) non-free Qt lib stuff for programming KDE? I've read blurbs about it here and there, but am wondering if any of my fellow GNU/Linux geeks could elaborate the full story for me

It is basicly FUD. QT is normal GPL licenced.
