What exactly do you want to do? Do you want the linux box to use a gateway or act as one? The same goes for the DNS.

if you are using redhat it ships with a sample firewall-masq script that will handle the MASQing - or the gateway part, it will take the request for the internet from your intermal machines, and forward it out.

that is a script, you need to run it whenever your IP changes,. if you have a cable modem you can add calls to it to /etc/dhclient-exit-hooks (assuming you use dhcp) or if you have a modem or other ppp connection you can add it to /etc/ppp/ip-up.local (both of those files will need to be created)

You can download a package(rpm) caching-nameserver which will setup named to run as a DNS server for you, then start it

    /etc/init.d/named start

Let us know a little more and we can elaborate on these subjects if you need, specifically things like
-what is the connection to the internet, static IP, dynamic? cable? dsl? modem?
-what is the Ip scheme of the internal machine 192.168.0.X?

Quiet brain, or I\'ll stab you with a Q-tip.
