What's the dos command to delete Windows?
Is it
that?Code:deltree /y c:\
Time to give out bad advice to Win users who aren't nice to me! For example, I had one jerk in my PE class come up to me in circa end of first semester and says this:
I think the information could prove to be useful, it's not really malicious if they are stupid enough to put it in. If anyone with MS Windows experience could help me out on this one it would be most appreciated, thanks.Hey, I have too much porn on my computer - fix it queer!!
EDIT: Considering Win NT doesn't really have dos anymore I guess it would be a run command.Registered Linux user #393103

I think that would work lovely. And just a little lyingOh, well, it's easy. Just run a few commands:
Win-R
Type "cmd" and press enter
Type "format C:\" <-- This will index all the files of your computer
Agree to the format
cd "C:\Documents and Settings\<USER>\My Documents\My Pictures\"

Hehe, cool ideas guys - thanks for the info. I'm not the physical type, although if I had to throw down in fisticuffs
I could manage, I just basically needed to know how to mentally beat them computer wise. I forgot about the format command.. so it would be this:
and agree. OK, I got it. If it arises again, which it most likely will then I will give them that command. Most of the people that come up to me and ask me to fix their pc's are dense enough to believe me on this one:Code:format C:\
And they would be following my every command...Oh yeah, formatting? It means that it's changing file formats to your files and um.. everything will move faster, making porno three times better!Registered Linux user #393103

Cabhan - that's great, indexing! hehe
With telling them how much it would cost them to fix it, they wouldn't really care - they would just buy a new pc like an idiot. Until then they would just use the library computers for porn

If you give them the format c:\ command, tell them to disregard the notice about the fact that all of there data will be destroyed.
You might have to defend yourself though if they actually follow your advice. How to know if you are a geek.

/Y Suppresses prompting to confirm you want to delete the subdirectory.
[drive:]path Specifies the name of the directory you want to delete.
Note: Use DELTREE cautiously. Every file and subdirectory within the specified directory will be deleted. Once deleted you cannot recover the information.
EXAMPLES
deltree c:\windows\fake010 = Deletes the fake010 directory and everything in it.
deltree is like 'rm' in nix's

I see.. thanks for the info loft306.
I'm Googling right now under Knoppix.. I'm not really getting it.. so I must pick up a virus first, or do I download one specifically and then copy it over to the floppy? I'm almost positive it's the latter.. I know where I can pick up a virus obviously (several software cracking sites are key) but downloadable? I'll Google some more.Registered Linux user #393103
