    Accidentally Cat'ed an exe ??


    I accidentally catted a exe file and my screen and command line turned to garberlee gok.

    How do I recover from this without rebooting?

    just type reset and press enter, this will enable your console again

    This was soley and accident.

    I wanted to look at the contents of what I thought was a config file and it wasn't.

    You can use the command

    Code:
    strings <filename>
    To see the readeble text in compiled programs
