ok i run red hat9 and it has that little icon by the clock to let you know if your up to date or not and i have a problem regestering for it when i go to regester it just sits at the review privacy statment. with an hour glass i dont know if is just because the text file assoicated with this windodw is dammaged or what but any help on how to fix this problem would be helpfull

Have you got access to the internet from that box?? The up2date client wants to conect to redhats site to verify packagestatuses.

yeah i got internet access but when i click the ? it comes up and gives me an error first off

this tells me to send it to redhat(now stop what your thinking...i have sent to error to RH severl times with no reply) so thats where im at i guess it not really a big deal but i would like to stay up todate.

Yeah, that's right. RedHat's certificate expired, and now they're issuing a new one. Go to http://rhn.redhat.com/ to find the instructions on how to update.
Btw., Sykkn (the site admin) did set up a paypal account some time ago when he had some kind of troubles with his ISP. I believe that he is out of danger now, but if you want to give him a little something for keeping this site up for all of us, see the end of each page.
