Restore phpBB forum
I guess I'll just have to bit the bullet and re-install my OS. No problem, expect for one tiny thing...
I know I can backup a phpBB forum and restore, but it seems the forums has to be working in order to do that (from phpAdmin). If I reinstall, obviously the forum won't be working and I won't be able to use the restore feature.
How do I re-install and restore a backup of my forums?
Thanks,

Doesn't that have a MySQL backend? If so, how much config is outside of the DB? I'm not that familiar with the phpBB but I have some SQL skills so I may be able to help. phpAdmin - is that phpMyAdmin? or is it from phpBB too?

Using phpmyadmin, I was able to easily back up and restore my forums.
