Help Major Problem
I recently had FC4 on a partition of my hard drive. I ran Windows XP on the other partition.
I decided the other day that I had no need for linux so deleted the linux partition using partion magic from within windows.
Now when I restarted the computer the GRUB boot loader doesn't load properly and just comes up with a GRUB command screen. I can't seem to load windows and I just get stuck on this screen. Pressing tab reveals a number of commands that can be used but none seem to work and say they require the kernal, which I obviously don't have.
How can I start windows without doing a clean reinstall.

Insert a Windows boot disk and enter the command:
fdisk /mbr
That will overwrite the grub info and put you back to the familiar Windows login.

What like a Windows XP install cd? And where do I enter the command, it the grub screen or elsewhere? Sorry I'm a bit of a newbie and you'll have to explain a bit more.

That should work... run the recovery console and use the command fixmbr.
