    On board ethernet problem

    Hi All,

    I have installed RH6.2 on a machine the kernel is 2.2.14-5 . The on board network card does not seem to work. While booting it says

    Delaying initialization of eth0

    I tried ifup ifcfg-eth0 still it complains the same error

    I have tried moving the pcmcia startup before netowrk startup in the /etc/rc.d/rcx.d scripts but doesnt seem to work either..

    Can any one suggest any solution to this.

    ive never heard of an onboard card running thru pcmcia....
    what sort of card is it?
